Our show year is over, but the annual meeting is on Sunday,January 8th at 1:30pm at the Salford Hall. If you would like to see changes in the class list, the cost of either the membership or the entry fees or anything else you can think of, come on out and make sure your concerns or suggestions are heard. You could even think of becoming an executive. The club can always use new people on the executive with new and different ideas. We need a quorum of 15 people in order to make any changes to bylaws or the constitution, and to have elections for the executive. You need to be a member in order to voteor to be elected to the executive. Marg and Max Albright are offering the use of their indoor arena for $10.00 per person. Please call first, 519-485-0418.
YOUTH
The youth are still collecting pop cans as a fundraiser. If you can help them out by saving your pop cans and letting John McHardy (519-537-7179) know you have them, so pick up can be arranged. I am sure they will appreciate it.
FUNDRAISERS
There are still T-shirts ($10.00) small sizes only, and pins ($3.00) available for sale. Please contact any of the directors if you would like to purchase one for yourself or if you know of anyone interested in purchasing one.
SPONSORSHIPS & DONATIONS
We will be looking for sponsors to help keep our club going for the 2012 season. If you know of any business or other person who may be interested in sponsoring the Oxford Trail Riders, please see one of the executive for a sponsor form. We need a sponsorship for 39 classes ($60) and for 6 High Point Awards ($120). For those of you who would like to either sponsor a class, 1/2 class or make a donation to our operating expenses, we sincerely thank you for helping to keep the Oxford Trail Riders, the club it is today.
COMING EVENTS
Oxford Trail Riders annual meeting is on Sunday, January 8th at 1:30 pm at the Salford Hall.
The WHAO Annual Meeting and Awards is at the Brantford Tourism Centre at 1 pm on January 8, 2012.
The Paint Banquet and AGM is on January 15, 2012 from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm at the Southgate Centre, Woodstock, Ontario.
